Move closer I can feel your body rise The heat from you And I just have to fantasize We’re all alone now And I don’t care what people have to say...
Music, alcohol, partying and girls. The four factors that made up Eddie's whole life. Those were the things Edward Griffith ever cared about since he reached teenhood, and things would probably stay that way until the day he died. At least he hoped so. He admitted he only used those things to catch his parents' attention in the first place, but the longer he lived this kind of life, the better Ed was liking it. There was no stress, just having fun and enjoying what life had to offer. Sweet, no? So why was Edward sitting at the bar with a drink in his hand, looking all glum? Bad day, Eddie?
The English boy took another sip of his drink, his other hand fingering his sleek red and black phone. It still brand new, although he had been using it for a whole year already. Probably because Ed was always so busy partying that he never used it. His thumb brushed over the buttons, and with a few quick movements navigated to the missed call log. It had been awhile since he answered any calls, so it was a pretty long list. Edward scrolled down the screen and was mildly surprised to see a missed call from his mother. My my, what was Emily Phillipa Quaye doing, calling her son all the way from London? Eddie grimaced, it was hard to believe she still remembered her son. He emptied the list with the click of a button and threw the phone down on the bar.
Ruin his mood, why don't you? Right now, it had went just from bad to worse. Edward finished his drink in one big gulp, regretting ever checking his call log. His parents. Pah. Sometimes he wished he could jump on a plane back home to London and give them a good shaking. Wake up, he'd say, I'm your son, your bloody son. I deserve more than this. They were always so busy at work, it was hard to believe the family photos that hung in the living room, of Jared and Emily Griffith holding a baby Edward and laughing happily. When did that happen? Ed would question. Sometimes Eddie questioned whether his parents really wanted to have him. They seemed content with their busy careers, they hardly made any time for him.
Fuck it. Edward didn't care. He had a good life here, so why was he sulking? So Ed put on his mask, the one everyone knew so well, Edward Griffith: fulltime partier and jerk got another drink from the bartender, who seemed to know his taste well and after downing it, stood up and made his way to the dancefloor. It was Edward's sixth drink, but he was far from drunk. It took a whole lot more than that to make him feel the effects of alcohol. What can he say? He was a pro at this. Ed made his way through the sea of people, tonight he'd get the party started and enjoy the music booming in his ears, have a couple more drink and hook up with one of those girls that liked to look at him so much. Ladies and gentlemen, here's the one and only Edward Colin Griffith. Yes, that was the way Edward planned it. Too bad life's usually unpredictable and doesn't really go the way we want it to.

TAGG ||BY||Mandy James|| Please Amanda hadn't a clue. It was one of those days where nothing bad, nor exciteing had happened. But she too had decided to go and get a drink. Sadly. This was Ner York. Her home town. Where just miles away she'd see her parents by the house door, with smiles, and her big brother, Josh, there too. This was the thing Mandy hated about her family. That they were always so kind and helpful. And well, just the opposate of Ed's parents. Too protective. Too kind. Too not busy. Too well everything in Mandy's thick head. She had just decided to get drunk and do what she normally did on Friday nights. Get drunk, hook up with some random person, and forget all about it the next day. Some would ask how she'd do this. Well honestly, she did this every-other week.
Though she had already a drink or two at her dorm. She came here for the alcholic ones. While at the dorm, they wern't aloud true drinks. She strived for friday, after friday. It was just a day of goofing off for Mandy. While all of the other days usually revolved around makeing fun of some lame person, or just being a bitch to people. And it was just the same tonight, just with a drunk ending.
While she had dirven into the bar, Mandy turned up the radio as loud as she could before it started to hurt her ears. Turning it to Hot n Cold by Katy Perry. A song that she was starting to get sick of. Though she hadn't really noticed what song it was at this moment. She was in a ok mood, though she was pissed. Not at anyone really, just her sister, Nikki, for being the same as her all of the time. God! Mandy was really getting annoyed by that, Little sister Nicole. She needs to get ahold of her self before Mandy goes after her.
While she had entered the bar, one that she had been in for the past three weeks, the bartender reconized her. She knew it by holding up a drink, and the one she wanted. While she was to make her way across the busy, crouded, and tightly closed dance floor, she had bumped into a few people on the way over. Bumping into a boy rather hard, she stopped "Sorry" she said to him, now being able to reconize that he was from The Secere Academy like she was too. "You go to The Secere Academy?" Mandy asked, she wanted to be sure, which at this time she wasn't. Normally she was able to look at a person, and identify, either, The Secere Academy, outta town, or local. This time, she didn't believe she's seen him around school, or locally, but she knew that he wasn't an outta towner.

Move closer I can feel your body rise The heat from you And I just have to fantasize We’re all alone now And I don’t care what people have to say...
Edward's initial idea was to turn around with a scowl on his face and whoever it was who bumped into him a piece of his mind. And that was exactly what he did. "Hey, wat-" Until he was who that someone was, that is. The female that greeted Eddie's eyes made him grin slightly. My my, she was a pretty one, wasn't she? And a lovely voice too. He paused for a moment, trying to recall her name. "Yes. And I'm assuming you go there too, love?" He replied with a smirk.
Yes, he remembered her now, she was an elite at the Secere Academy. Edward couldn't imagine why he hadn't noticed her before. Usually a girl with that kind of looks... let's just say this wasn't a girl Edward would usually miss or let slip pass his sight. He moved forward slightly when another person threatened to bump into him and make him lose his balance, all the time studying the girl before him. There was no denying it, she was a beautiful one, yet there was something different about her that Edward couldn't seem to place his finger on. It wasn't her manner of speech, nor was it her personal style... it was more like the aura she gave off or something. This wasn't any random girl, Ed could tell. And he liked that.
He was sick of those girls, the stereotypes that hung about him everytime he was at the club or at school. The types that hung out with him just because of his status and personal networth. Well, it wasn't all that bad, but it just got old sometimes. "Well, I suppose we shouldn't just stand here and talk..." He said, glancing about him. They were standing in the middle of the dancefloor, surrounding by a sea of people who were moving in time to the heavy club beats, courtesy of the terrific DJ that performed every other night at the club. He would like to get to know this girl, this girl who gave him a different vibe, but that could come later. Possibly after a lot of alcohol consumption, and in the privacy and comfort of a hotel room, or in this case since they both went to the academy, his or her dorm. Though the hotel seemed like a better choice, since at the academy you had roommates, and the thought of bringing her back to his dorm when Jack was sleeping in there was just...
Edward's feet started to move with the music and slowly drifted further and further away from the girl. His lips were curved to form a smirk, his trademark expression, as his body seemed to act on its accord, leading him around the dancefloor. His eyes though, never left the girl, he was careful should he lose sight of her. Eddie didn't think the girl would reject him or anything, he expected her to follow him of course, but life was full of surprises, and tonight Ed didn't feel like having any surprises. Surprises were simply no fun if they were bad ones.

"Hey, wat-" He said in a voice that sounded very mean to Mandy. She rased an eye brow in shock "Yes. And I'm assuming you go there too, love?" he said in a charming yet sly tone. It was just the tone that Mandy wanted to hear today. The boy was surely cute. Just the vibe he sent out was like he didn't really give a shit about anything. Includeing girls, himself, and the people around him. People that Mandy could usually just sense when she's around. At this moment. Amanda kept her mouth shut. She didn't think she would be able to say her name was Amanda, as all of the school knew who she was, so she would have to just say Mandy. Well unless...but she couldn't think of that now, so she was forced to speak.
"I'm Mandy James, And yea i go to Secere Academy" she stated quietly, hoping that he wouldn't be able to hear her under the tone of the music. She was going to first get her drink, the one that the bartender had just poured for her. She knew that would be the best thing for her temper at the moment. Only because when she is in a temper mood. It would be wise to give Amanda Elizabeth James a drink. But this habbit was the reason why she was sent off to the academy. To become a proper young lady, one that was greatly polite, kind, careing, and respective. Pfft. With this school the way it is, that would never happen.
She looked up from her gase on the floor as he spoke, "Well, I suppose we shouldn't just stand here and talk..." But Mandy would disagree with that. She just hadn't an idea on how to tell him she wanted her drink first. Only to keep her temper from going up any higher than it was in the first place.
"Really, I'd like to get a drink too?" she asked "than we could sit down and talk" Mandy giggled as she stated the we place in the sentence. Just, there have never been a we implyed in her family. NEVER! It seemed as a forbidden word to her, meaning to do something with another, team work. It was just a word that nither mother nor father or even siblings ever used. It was always Jason and I or October and I or so on. Never we. It at times felt good to say it to others.
For this boy, getting sex is what he wants? It would be much to much easy. Mandy was easy to get cracked, she'd reviel herself whenever she would wish. She was a free-willing person that never really brought much attention to herself. She turned his arm around, took his grip off of her wrist and took a hold of his wrist, trying to pull him the way that she wanted to go twards the bar. Than she would allow him to take her to another table.

Move closer I can feel your body rise The heat from you And I just have to fantasize We’re all alone now And I don’t care what people have to say...
James. Ah, indeed. The smirk on Edward's face widened. So she was Nikki's sister. He couldn't believe he hadn't met Mandy before, especially since he and Nikki had sort of dated before. But then again, it only lasted for a few days before they broke it off so it was a fling then. "Mandy." He echoed. Nice name. "Call me, Ed, love. Everyone does." He murmured. Eddie was mildly surprised when Mandy caught hold of his hand and started dragging him towards the bar. But he didn't object, it was alright, drinks were fine too. On upon seeing Edward approaching the bar, the bartender whipped up another drink for him. Hah, he knew Ed too well.
The seventeen year old took the drink gratefully and glanced at Mandy. He couldn't help but grin when he thought back on what she said... then we could sit down and talk. Sit down and talk. Heh. Now that would be a first for Edward. Usually the partier didn't have time to even sit down and have a real conversation. And he didn't plan to start anytime soon. Oh, he'd get this girl for sure, it was just a matter of getting close to her first. He sipped at his drink, wondering what the bartender had given him. It was good. The alcohol left a warm feeling in his throat and stomach, and he almost sighed in pleasure.
So she wanted to sit down and talk. Alright. In that case he'd just keep the drinks coming until they were both drunk. A pretty rocking plan, don't cha think? He would have prefered dancing or something, but this worked as well. Besides, they were both carrying drinks, it was hard to dance. And a spilled drink over a very expensive suit... a big no no. Can you say, ew? Feeling confident as usual, Eddie snaked his fingers around her, and led her over to a table not far from the bar. Of course it wouldn't make any sense to sit over at the table in the dark corner. It was too far from the bar to Ed's liking, the boy could never part from his favourite drinks.
"I think I must be going blind, love. I can't believe I haven't seen you around before." He said with a smirk, with a hand over his chest, the other still holding his precious alcohol. Well, either he was blind, or he was too drunk to notice anybody around him. Though the latter seemed more likely. But of course he didn't say that out loud, girls tend to steer away from the alcoholics most of the time. Not that Ed was an alcoholic. He just really really really loved drinking. Hah. It was kind of unfair actually. A thought suddenly popped into Eddie's head. When girls were in for the fun they'd look for somebody like him, but then they usually went for the nice guys when they wanted a relationship. Guess guys like Ed couldn't be counted on to commit. Not that he would, but... it would be nice for a girl to come up to him once in awhile, not just for the sex, drinks and his obvious wealth.
After pondering for a few more seconds, Edward rid the thought from his head. Nah, tonight was supposed to be fun and enjoyable. He glanced at the female beside him, hoping he hadn't bored her to death with his sudden quietness (he wasn't usually like this, you know). Ed couldn't help but want to snatch her away, press her up against a wall and stick his tongue down her throat. Hmm, a very nice image, no? He breathed in deeply, trying to contain his feelings. He finished his drink, which helped to dull his senses just a little bit more and take his mind off his urges. But then again, Eddie always had urges, very strong ones indeed. That was probably why he was labelled as one of the playboys in Secere Academy. Anyway. "I don't suppose you've heard of my reputation, my dear... The famous Ed Griffith?" He edged closer to her until his lips was just a hairbreadth away from hers.
ooc: eek, sorry for long wait. muse had flown out the window after a crow settled on my balcony, cawing like a friggin clockwork or something.
